📝 Remote Nurse Resume

“Do’s & Don’ts” Checklist

Do

  • Use clear, ATS-friendly formatting (no text boxes or fancy columns)

  • Include remote-ready skills (telehealth, EMR, phone triage, care coordination)

  • Tailor your resume keywords to match each job posting

  • Show measurable results (e.g., “reduced readmissions by 12%”)

  • Keep it concise: 1–2 pages max

  • Highlight tech proficiency (Zoom, Teams, EMR platforms like EPIC)

  • Proofread carefully for grammar & spelling

Don’t

  • Use images, graphics, or complex templates that confuse applicant tracking systems

  • Only list bedside tasks without highlighting transferable skills

  • Send the same generic resume to every job

  • Use vague statements like “responsible for patient care”

  • Submit resumes longer than 3 pages

  • Leave out technical skills important for remote roles

  • Rely only on spellcheck or skip reviewing your resume

Pro Tip: Your resume should show you’re ready for remote work.

Highlight your transferable bedside skills and your tech comfort.

Cheers 🥂
