If you're ready to leave bedside or simply want to explore what's out there, I've pulled together this week's remote and non-bedside nursing opportunities.

And remember: you don't have to leave nursing to leave the bedside.

Don't submit the same resume to every remote nursing job.

Remote nursing positions can receive a large number of applications, so your resume needs to quickly show that your experience matches the specific role.

Before applying, look at the job description and identify the 5–10 skills or keywords that appear repeatedly.

Then make sure your resume naturally reflects the experience you actually have with those skills.

For example:

If the job repeatedly mentions:

Utilization Management • Medical Necessity • MCG • Prior Authorization • Epic

…and you have that experience, make sure those terms are clearly visible on your resume.

If a job posting identifies the recruiter, hiring manager, or department contact, consider reaching out after you apply.

A short message can be enough:

"Hi [Name], I just applied for the [Position] role. My background includes [relevant experience], and I'm very interested in the opportunity. I wanted to introduce myself and express my interest in the position."

You don't need a long sales pitch.

Make it easy for them to see why you're relevant.
