The Duke Endowment has awarded Atrium Health’s foundation over $4 million, with the largest portion of the grant going toward establishing a virtual nursing facility in rural North Carolina. Other grants will support initiatives including an AI tool for doctor-patient communication, an app to improve school health communication, and a health sciences academy for students. This marks the largest single gift Atrium Health has received from The Duke Endowment.
